Disposal Method

Monochloroacetic acid and 80% monochloroacetic acid aqueous solution

Comply with standards for disposing poisons and hazardous substances.

  • Disposal of product: If disposing by incineration, since hazardous gases (carbon dioxide, formaldehyde, and carbon monoxide) are produced, take measures for treating effluent gas from incineration.
  • Waste from residue: Neutralize with sodium carbonate (Na2CO3)or sodium bicarbonate(NaHCO3), and dispose of with large amounts of water.
  • Disposal of contaminated container and packaging: Neutralize with sodium carbonate(Na2CO3) or sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), and dispose.

  • Disposal of contaminated container and packaging: Recover as much as possible and then dispose.
