Raw materials of Denak’s monochloroacetic acid are acetic acid and chlorine supplied by Denka. It is manufactured using the continuous method established by Akzo Nobel. Monochloroacetic acid produced by this method has superior quality compared with products manufactured by other methods. There are other advantages such as being available as flakes or as an 80% aqueous solution. Sodium monochloroacetate is manufactured by reacting sodium with monochloroacetic acid. This product also has superior quality, and it has been highly valued as a processed product of monochloroacetic acid.
